A Children’s Book Writer’s Responsibility Is Pretty Scary.

So, I suck sometimes when it comes to being brave. And that suck extends to my actual career, which is writing. I don’t have the toughest skin. My first ever published book (a young adult novel) is on a ban list in Texas. It’s a book that I really needed as a kid and a book that tons of readers thanked me for.

But it’s banned.
